Estimating 1

A basic knowledge of blueprint reading is required. This class prepares participants for basic interpretation and understanding of the estimating process including the different levels of an estimate, organizing take offs, and summarization. A brief introduction is given regarding the use of Excel to estimate a project. Using the Construction Specification Institute's 16 Divisions, this class covers estimating a light commercial construction project. The Construction Math course is a prerequisite to this course.
